An Important Question
This "question" is more a set of loose thoughts I had while writing this, so bare with me and what may be rambling lol.
I've seen some reels about couples talking about their "rules" in their relationship. Most of them aren't really rules, but more like habits they do for each other. What are your thoughts on that? I'll try to answer on my end shortly and then pose a slightly different question.
In my eyes, if I am doing something because it is a rule then it is less genuine. Nevertheless, I do think there are small things, like us keeping track of every time I miss a door, that are cool demonstrations of acts of service. Viewed under that lens, I think sharing and being open with what we value most from each other can help us be the best version of ourselves from each other.
Knowing the question I'm going to ask isn't particularly the simplest to answer, I'll give my side first. Over what is now almost a whole year, I've come to learn more about myself and what brings me joy. Every time I look into your eyes, I see a window to the soul of the woman I love, and I feel a presence that can turn a bad day into a great one at an instant. Every time I hold your hand, you wrap your arms around mine, or rest your head on my shoulder, I feel a comfort that reminds me of how lucky I am to have you in my life. Every time we kiss, every loving moment that we've shared flashes through my mind; it is in those moments that I try to show my love in the most intimate way I can. Your presence, small acts of service, and moments of intimacy are the things you always do that bring me the most joy.
With that said, I want to know what makes you feel the most loved. I'm with you for the long run, so I want to know what you love most because I want to be the best version of myself for you.
